The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.


4. Account Registration

Buyers:

  • Must create an account to place orders.
  • Are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.
  • Must ensure payment and delivery details are accurate.

Sellers:

  • Must complete seller onboarding and verification.
  • Must provide valid business and bank details.
  • Are responsible for all activities under their account.

5. Product Listings (Sellers)

Sellers agree to:

  • Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Ensure products comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not list prohibited, counterfeit, illegal, or restricted goods.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory to fulfill orders.

The platform reserves the right to remove listings that violate policies.


6. Orders and Payments

Buyers:

  • Agree to pay the full listed price including applicable taxes and shipping fees.
  • Must complete payment through approved payment methods.

Sellers:

  • Authorize the platform to process payments on their behalf.
  • Agree to platform commission or service fees as stated in the seller agreement.

The platform may withhold payments in cases of disputes, fraud investigations, or policy violations.


7. Shipping and Delivery

Sellers:

  • Are responsible for timely shipment of products.
  • Must provide accurate tracking details where applicable.
  • Bear responsibility for safe packaging and delivery.

Buyers:

  • Must provide correct shipping information.
  • Should inspect items upon delivery and report issues promptly.

8. Returns and Refunds

Return eligibility, timelines, and refund processes should be clearly defined.

Generally:

  • Buyers may request returns within a specified period.
  • Sellers must comply with the platform’s return policy.
  • Refunds are processed according to platform procedures.

The platform may intervene in disputes between buyers and sellers.


9. Fees and Commissions (Sellers)

Sellers agree to pay:

  • Commission on completed sales.
  • Subscription or listing fees (if applicable).
  • Payment processing fees.

All fees should be clearly outlined in the Seller Agreement.


10. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Engage in fraud or misrepresentation.
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings.
  • Circumvent platform payment systems.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Upload malicious software or attempt unauthorized access.

Violation may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.


11. Intellectual Property

  • The platform retains ownership of website content, branding, and technology.
  • Sellers grant the platform a license to use product images and descriptions for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Users must not copy, reproduce, or exploit content without authorization.

12. Limitation of Liability

The marketplace acts as a facilitator and is not directly responsible for:

  • Product quality or safety (unless sold directly by the platform).
  • Seller conduct.
  • Indirect or consequential damages.

Liability may be limited to the amount paid for the transaction in dispute.


13. Dispute Resolution

  • Users agree to attempt resolution through the platform’s internal dispute process first.
  • The governing law and jurisdiction should be clearly specified (e.g., Federal Republic of Nigeria if applicable).
  • Arbitration or mediation may be required before court action.

14. Account Suspension and Termination

The platform may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Breach terms and policies.
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct.
  • Fail to meet performance standards (for sellers).

Outstanding obligations survive termination.


15. Amendments to Terms
